Finally our favorite singer Adele is back and has surely returned with a bang. Her new song has broken all the records of previous songs and she is shinning like a star in all the music charts.

On Friday, Adele finally released her highly anticipated “Easy on Me” single. This was initially announced last week as this is now her first single since 2015. East on Me has since then put up a historic streaming number and now it has broken a new Spotify record.

According to data from charts, Easy On Me Borke all-time global Spotify streaming record for a single day. The song accumulated  19.749 million streams. Radio play has also been a big contributor for Adele’s latest single and it earned the biggest US radio launch for any song in 2021.

Easy On Me totaled 4,000+ plays in 24 hours. This is now the fastest-moving song of Adele’s career, which passes 2015’s “Hello.” Easy On Me is also expected to be the number one album, in the US, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, next week.

Spotify has not revealed the exact number of global streams that the song has garnered until today to achieve the monumental feat. The singer previously announced that she would be releasing her song earlier this month after months of speculations of she had new music in the works.

Adele also teased the track on social media in a black and white clip that featured her inserting a cassette tape into a player. In the video, she drove down a country road as a gentle piano melody began to play in the backdrop.

Adele is also going to soon release her fourth studio album “30,” on November 19. This is her first album since 2015, as well. That year, her “25” album debuted at number one. Every album of Adele’s career has always debuted with a top position amongst the fans and music charts. You can watch the song in the below video:
