That means that we won’t be able to see Rosario Dawson until after the three projects debut that it keeping the Ahsoka project on halt until 2023. In crisp words, we won’t be able to see the Ahsoka series until 2023.

What Will Ahsoka Be About?

The closest thing we have in the form of a plotline is a rumoured peek at what direction Ahsoka will go when it hits Disney+ Here’s what we found from the reports about the series.

Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) is on the hunt for the evil Grand Admiral Thrawn in the hope it will help her locate the missing Ezra Bridger, the young Jedi that disappeared with Thrawn many years ago. Based on characters from the “Star Wars” franchise. A spinoff of the TV series “The Mandalorian”.

The leak sounds somehow the right, all thanks to Disney. We know that Ahsoka will also take place after minimum of five years after The Return of The Jedi which is much like The Mandalorian. It is quite fitting that Tano’s next adventure where we will see how she continued her journey from The Clone Wars and Rebels animated series, as well as her brief stint on The Mandalorian.

There might also be a surprise on the level of Baby Yoda who will be eating those fish eggs and he will probably show up in many of the flashback sequences. Christensen also confirmed that they will appear in Obi-wan series and his story will also go anywhere.

If we get lucky and get a reunion then we can also see Baby Yoda and Ahsoka Tano where the Kiddo can also learn a few new tricks.

Ahsoka cast: Who’s in it?

At present the only confirmed cast of the series is Rosario Dawson.  Even before the series was announced Daniel Richtman claimed that Sabine Wren would also arrive alongside the Ahsoka. Wren was also voiced by Tiya Sircar in Rebels and several other Star War projects. In terms of the potential appearance of Ezra Bridger, Rahul Kohli addressed all the rumours and said that he would play Bridger. He added:

“I heard rumours that there was a casting call looking for a live-action Ezra that was looking for Asian actors in their late twenties, early thirties.

“I had watched a bit of Rebel that morning, so it was fresh in my mind. I was going to the gym and I thought I’d fire off a cheeky tweet.”

Ahsoka trailer: When can I watch it?

The 12 episode Cassian Andor series is due to air in 2022, suggesting there could be a long wait before any footage of Ahsoka swings its lightsaber into our lives. Then again, Disney is now powering forward with its impressive roster of Star Wars that shows and could move a little quicker with Dawson’s show.

Although Ahsoka is currently is on its formative stages so we cannot say anything on the release data as of now. However, what we can assure you is that as soon as we get any update we will surely update it here.

  1. I so want to see in a series what Ahsoka Tano and Rex did after the events of The Clone Wars Victory and Death: how Gregor and Wolffe had their chips removed, present in their heads used to trigger Order 66, and how they ended up with Rex on Seelos aboard an AT-TE; when and how Ahsoka met Bail Organa and Hera Syndulla; what Ahsoka did with his other lightsaber; how Ahsoka got his new white lightsabers; what Barriss Offee has become: whether she saw Ahsoka again and reconciled with her; if Ahsoka saw Riyo Chuchi, Lux Bonteri, Trace and Rafa Martez, Saw Gerrera, Ursa Wren, Korkie Kryze, and Mace Windu if he survived.
If they are making a series about Ahsoka Tano, I hope so much that this character’s story begins when she leaves the Jedi Order, and that it is shown what she has become until the events of The Clone Wars Gone With A Trace : If after leaving the Jedi Order, she reviewed Asajj Ventress and teamed up with her on a mission; but also Barriss Offee and talk with her after discovering her betrayal, in order to reason with her and eventually reconcile.
I would love to see in a series what Ahsoka did after being saved by Ezra Brider in Star Wars Rebels “A World Between Worlds” until she found Sabine Wren to search for Ezra Bridger in “Family Reunion and Farewell Part II”.
I look forward to seeing Ahsoka with Sabine on their quest to find Ezra Bridger.
I so want to see Ahsoka meet Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Han Solo, Force ghosts of Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Yoda.
I hope so much that while Ahsoka Tano’s voice is heard in Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker, that doesn’t necessarily mean she’s dead, even though most of the Jedi we hear are dead. But if she really did die in Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker I hope, not only is it well after her quest with Sabine to find Ezra Bridger, but not by being killed by an enemy, but something similar to the deaths of Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, or Ben Solo.
I would have liked Ahsoka Tano to become a Jedi again after the founding of the New Jedi Order by Luke Skywalker, as that would mean that her pain when she left the Jedi Order during the Clone Wars is well healed. Indeed when she left the Jedi Order, she was very upset because she had lost confidence in the Jedi who did not believe in her innocence (except her master Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi) even after they admitted their wrongdoing and offered to reinstate her.
I would love to see Ahsoka with Rex come back to the moon near the graves of the clone troopers in the company of other characters including Luke, Leia, Han, Lando and Chewie.
I so want to see Ahsoka Tano seeing Obi-Wan Kenobi again on Tatooine or before his exile on Tatooine after Order 66.
I hope the Bad Batch will meet Ahsoka Tano especially after Order 66.
