Bachelor alum Alexis Waters got engaged to her boyfriend of four years, Tyler Fernandez, on a yacht in Miami over the weekend. Fernandez popped the question in front of a group of friends who gathered to celebrate Waters’ 30th birthday. Waters shared a video of the proposal on her Instagram Story, where Fernandez can be seen dropping to one knee amidst cheers and congratulations from the guests. The couple shared a sweet embrace and kiss after Waters excitedly said yes. Fernandez was introduced to Waters by fellow Bachelor contestant Rachel Lindsay in 2018.
Waters first appeared on season 21 of The Bachelor in 2017, where she vied for the heart of Nick Viall, but did not find love on the show. She returned later that year to appear on season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise.
Waters shared a snapshot of her sizable new engagement ring on Instagram, where she can be seen wearing a yacht captain’s hat while holding up her hand to display the dazzling diamond on her finger. “Thank you to everyone for all the love this weekend,” Waters wrote.
