Jason Momoa, who just wrapped production of the sequel to the superhero blockbuster Aquaman, seems ecstatic to share the news on the social platform. “Aw man, that is a wrap,” the actor captioned a video.  ‘Aquaman 2′ has come to an end. He sparked fans’ interest even further by stating that he had a lot to share with them. He further added, “I wish… I could tell you so much. What an epic day. I love you.”

The DC Extended Universe’s “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” is the thirteenth installment. In this film, Momoa portrays Arthur Curry, the half-Atlantean/half-human monarch. His character has superhuman swimming abilities and the capacity to interact with underwater creatures. The film is expected to hit theaters in December 2022.

The release schedule for Aquaman 2

Jason Momoa’s Modern Costume Improves the Hero’s Look in Aquaman 2

One further modification for the sequel has been disclosed by Momoa: a brand-new outfit that is far different from the one he wore in the previous film. “More action,” Momoa said on Instagram, with a first glimpse at the new outfit.

Patrick Wilson’s Ocean Master has a new look in Aquaman 2

While the post-credits sequence from the first film hinted that Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s Black Manta had enormous ideas for the sequel, it did not truly address what Patrick Wilson’s foolish ousted regent would do next. Thankfully, Wan has provided us with our first hint in the form of a fresh post on his Instagram. Wilson appears as Orm again, but in a drastically different condition than when he was on the throne.

Antagonists in Aquaman 2

We know two characters that will make things difficult for Arthur Curry and the remainder of the Aquaman 2 protagonists, and they are both well-known; Orm the Ocean Master and Black Manta.

Digitalspy says that Orm is not going to be a key villain in the next installment when he is asked about Orm in an event at a local bookshop (by Inverse). This puts Black Manta as the most probable bad guy, which sounds plausible as Aquaman’s post-credits sequence showed that Black Manta is alive and extremely unhappy with Aquaman.

What has occurred so far in Aquaman?

Arthur Curry, born on the surface of the world’s coasts, learns that he is only half-human and his other half of Atlantean heritage. As a result, he is the legitimate successor to the throne of Atlantis, the oceanic realm. On the other hand, Arthur discovers that Atlantis is controlled by his nefarious half-brother Orm, who wants to combine the seven undersea kingdoms and launch attacks on the surface. Arthur learns the full ability of his ultimate fate and becomes Aquaman with the help of Nuidis Vulko and Mera in order to preserve Atlantis and the surface from Orm’s sinister plot.
