The Discovery + channel has just released the trailer for a new three-part documentary that focuses on allegations of sexual abuse and assault made against Armie Hammer by several of her former partners, which led to a police investigation that was closed in December with no charges filed so far.

The actor’s career, which was at its best after the success of ‘Call me by your name’, began to plummet when the messages he had sent to several young women with whom he had sex talking about his cannibal fantasies were leaked and sadomasochists. The interpreter maintains that all the sexual encounters he had and what happened during them was with the explicit consent of the two parties involved, but since then he has disappeared from Hollywood and has sought refuge in the Cayman Islands.

The documentary titled ‘House of Hammer’ promises to delve into the dark past of Armie’s family, who amassed his fortune from the oil empire his grandfather built, to connect it to the present through the actor. In her trailer appear two of her alleged victims and also her aunt Casey Hammer, who in 2015 wrote a book in which she claimed that her father had abused her when she was a child.

In her brief speech, Casey compares the Hammers to the leading dynasty of the series ‘Succession’, only a million times worse, and assures that she will not allow them to continue silencing her. She adds that she’s not surprised that, with such a background, Armie became seemingly controlling and abusive because it’s a pattern of behavior firmly rooted in the environment they both grew up in.
