Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad prequel that will be reaching its conclusion with season 6 divided into two parts through the AMC broadcast network, will premiere the new episodes this Monday, April 18 with an explosive delivery. It’s been almost two years since the crime drama left screens, and that’s why Peter Gould promises some surprises.
The fifth season of Better Call Saul, which culminated in 2020, left fans gripped in their seats. Lalo Salamanca, came out alive from the massacre entrusted by Gustavo Fring to his thugs, and Tony Dalton’s character is expected to take revenge against the supreme capo and the man who betrayed him, Nacho Varga (Michael Mando), after his plans to assassinate him did not go as planned.
Meanwhile, in Better Call Saul Season 6, criminal attorney Jimmy McGill aka Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) and his love interest Kim Wexler ((Rhea Seehorn), are plotting to take down Howard Hamlin (Patrick Fabian), just as It was revealed in the promotional trailer for season 6.
On the other hand, Mike Ehrmantrout (Jonathan Banks) will be trying to convince Gustavo Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) that Nacho did his job even though the goal was not achieved. So, according to a recent sneak peek of the Better Call Saul season 6 premiere, the kingpin’s henchman suggests that Michael Mando’s character has earned respect for what he did.
The truth is that it is not known for sure what Gustavo Fring’s reaction will be to Nacho Varga, who must protect himself in season 6 of Better Call Saul, both from Gustavo himself and from Lalo Salamanca. The twists in this series have always been around the corner and that is why the next episodes will be no exception. Can any of these people make it out of the final season alive?
Better Call Saul co-creator Peter Gould was interviewed by TV Insider to talk about what’s next when season 6 of the crime drama hits fans’ screens. The producer stated what is really expected from the latest installment of the AMC show.
“It is difficult to put it into words. Season 6 is suspenseful, it’s explosive, it’s fun, and it takes a couple of twists that I don’t think anyone expects. Those are big words, because our fans are like that, they’re kind of bright and they tend to see around corners. But I do think it’s going to surprise people, but in a good way because all the seeds have been planted and boy, I couldn’t be more proud of the season.”
The producer promises that the final episodes of Better Call Saul will surprise fans. It is said that season 6 will be much better than Breaking Bad, the series whose main characters will be back in the Saul Gooman drama. Jesse Pinkman and Walter White, Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston are scheduled to make cameo appearances.
