Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is a highly anticipated sequel for Oscar-winning, billion-dollar blockbuster “Black Panther” started production on Tuesday. At Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, the productions will begin as said by Kevin Fiege the chief of Marvel Studios.

According to the reports, Director Ryan Coogler is also returning to direct from his screenplay. Fiege also says that everyone from the original cast is also coming back to the series. Without Chadwick Boseman because he died in August 2020 after fighting with colon cancer for four long years.

It will be very emotional to start working again without Chad, Fiege said in her statement. ” Everybody is also excited to bring the world of Wakanda back to the public and fans. We are also going to do it in a way that would make Chad surely proud”.

Black Panther Cast 

The plot of the series remain under the wraps and it did not say which actors would be returning back to the series. However, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba, and Angela Bassett will reprise their roles from the original film. Currently, there is no new update regarding the cast from Marvel Studios.

“Black Panther” was a sensational series when it got opened in 2018, February. The film earned $1.34 billion worldwide making it the highest-grossing non-avenger Marvel movie of all time. The film even earned seven academy award nominations including the best pictures. It also won Oscars for Score, design, costume and production design.

“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” is set to release on July 8, 2022. It is one of the 26 upcoming titles of Marvel studios. The movie is slated for a theatrical release and will also stream on Disney Plus. A tv series will also be set within the world of Wakanda which is a part of the overall television deal Coogler signed with The Walt Disney company in the month of February.

As they will be closely working with selected MCU shows for Disney Plus.
