Titan Publishing has officially announced that they are collaborating with Netflix. This, fortunately, means that they are going to publish tie-in books and then will come out with a new comic series on Netflix based on their comic books. Indeed, this is a dream come true for every comic lover out there. This news could get better for all those people who were cherished by the Cowboy Bebop back in the 90s. As the new upcoming series on Netflix is the Cowboy Bebop series. Not just one there are three brand new projects which will be released soon by this UK-based publisher. Those series are going to be Cowboy Bebop: The Comic Series which will be followed by another series which have such action and adventure that no one has ever seen before, the series will be called Cowboy Bebop: A Syndicate Story: Red Planet Requiem. After the release of these two amazing series, a third nonfiction production diary-type series will be released. That series will be known as Cowboy Bebop: Making the Netflix Series. Cowboy Bebop is classified as an iconic genre-defying anime-based series that is not officially set to be released as a live-action adaption by Netflix.
Cowboy Bebop Release Date
The wait for the Cowboy Bebop release date is now finally over as Netflix has disclosed that this live-action series will be premiered on November 19, 2021. However, the original date announced was in 2020 but as we all know that didn’t happen eventually due to the ongoing pandemic and quarantine. The Cowboy Bebop is set to have a 10-episode season on Netflix in 2018. This news was confirmed by the director of the original series Shinichiro Watanabe. The more exciting news is that the first episode of the series Cowboy Bebop will be written by the screenwriter of one of the greatest movies of the superhero world that is Thor: Ragnarök. Therefore, we could imagine how great the episode is going to be just from this news that the series would be penned by Christopher Yost. After this, we get to know that each episode of the Cowboy Bebop will be for one hour. This period is just opposite of the original series as in the original Cowboy Bebop the episodes were comparatively shorter. However, the co-writer of the series Javier Grillo-Marxuach gave a valid explanation for the episode being this long. He has stated that the longer episode will be proved helpful as the longer episodes will provide the room to series so that it can build up its narrative as well as all the characters can also develop their storylines. This show could be slightly different from the format of the original show. Cowboy Bebop will have a storyline and will have its core focus on the episodic adventure.
To this statement he also added that “But we are looking at the show and saying, who are the some of the great villains in this show, and how can we put them into this broader narrative? So that we are telling both of the big stories that Cowboy Bebop tells.”
Cowboy Bebop Cast
This amazing series is going to feature any new emerging as well as talented actors. The list of these actors includes John Cho, who will be playing the role of the protagonist Spike Spiegel. However, we have a peek at the main cast of the series Mustafa Shakir will be playing the role of Jet Black. Another amazing cast of the Cowboy Bebop series includes the actor from Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom- Daniella Pineda who will be seen as Faye Valentine in the series. And then Alex Hassell who is known from the series “The Boys” will be paying Vicious and Elena Satine will be seen as Julia.
If we look into the supporting cast, as reported in November 2020, Geoff Stults will be playing Jet Black’s old co-detective Chalmers and Tamara Tunie as jazz club who is the owner of Ana, Rachel House as White Tigers family member Mao, Ann Truong, and Hoa Xuande will be playing as Vicious’ henchmen Shin and Lin. Mason Alexander Park will be playing the role of Ana’s right hand.
All of these roles have been confirmed however, only one role that has still not been decided is the character, Edward. This character has not been solid nevertheless.

Unfortunately, there is still no trailer for this series yet. Although, the first look pictures of the series have been officially out by Netflix. We know that the fans would be waiting for the trailer but for that, you might have to wait for some more time. Is the filming for Netflix’s Cowboy Bebop finished?
The production house announced that the filming of the Netflix series the Cowboy Bebop has been finished in March 2021. Therefore, there is no much time left in the releases of the series. However, the filming of the series took a long time as it was initiated at the beginning of the year 2019. It was long because of an unfortunate knee injury of Cho which resulted in resuming the filming of the series and then another obstacle came in which we all are aware of – the pandemic of 2020.
