“The Little Mermaid” Returns to the Big Screen with a Star-Studded Cast
Disney’s beloved classic, “The Little Mermaid,” is getting a live-action adaptation as part of its ongoing trend to turn animated films into live-action movies. The film follows Ariel, a young and rebellious mermaid who dreams of living outside her underwater kingdom and embarks on a journey of love and self-discovery.
The movie stars Halle Bailey as Ariel, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, and Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, the film’s villain.
