Zeno-Sama is so far, the most powerful character in the world of Dragon Ball. “Zen-Chan” appeared for the first time in Dragon Ball Super, once Champa’s tournament ended and before the terrified gaze of Bills and Champa, it was revealed that he was, simply, the “King of Everything.”
Of course, he quickly befriended Goku and this connection saved the hero and Vegeta’s butt when they were about to be defeated by Zamasu in Trunks’ future; although the Zeno-Sama that answered this time was the one from this timeline (which is the original one), which was finally destroyed. This “Zen-Chan” joined the one we met earlier and we currently have two of them ruling the Dragon Ball multiverse.
And although Zeno-Sama is the most powerful being, he is also one of the most mysterious because what has been revealed about him is very little. It is not known if he is unique in his kind or belongs to some powerful race in the universe, nor if he has a family and it is only said about him that there is no one who surpasses him in power and much less can assassinate him.
He is characterized by having an extremely childlike attitude and it seems that beyond his duties as the “King of Everything”, what he really likes is playing, which we notice every time he wants to have fun with his friend Goku; and also when Bills and Shin were punished by himself for the disappearance of Meerus, having to become “racehorses” for the competitions between him and his future counterpart.
So, is Zeno-sama a boy? What is your official age? There is no answer to it. The age of the King of All has not been revealed in either the anime or the manga, much less in any official guide. However, there is a way to get an idea of how long it could have existed, thanks to a data shown in the anime, prior to the Tournament of Force.
When Daishinkan reveals to Goku, Bills and the rest of the divinities the exact data of the date and place of this expected event, he mentions that it will start on the day 3,135,500,603 (three thousand one hundred thirty five million, five hundred thousand six hundred three) of the Royal Calendar, which in English is translated as the King’s Calendar.
We do not know the starting point of this calendar, but taking our world as an example, which takes the birth of Jesus Christ as its starting point, it is possible that in the world of Dragon Ball the Royal Calendar begins with the birth of Zeno-Sama, if it is that this deity has a beginning — it may be eternal.
There is also the possibility that this calendar begins when Zeno-Sama began to rule the 18 multiverses existing at that time. Whatever the starting point, if we divide the date of the start of the Tournament of Force by 365, the days that a year has, it gives us a result of 8,590,412.61. That is, until the start of the Force tournament, Zeno-Sama would have lived for at least eight million years.
Until the start of the Force tournament, Zeno-Sama would have lived for at least eight million years.
Taking into consideration the official Dragon Ball timeline, shown in the Super Saiyajin Special Site, launched for the 30th anniversary of the franchise, the first recorded events in this universe occurred 5 million years ago, when Babidi created Majin Buu. If Zeno-Sama is 8 million years old, it makes sense that he existed before the things we have known in the manga and anime.
Of course, this conclusion is not official at all and is only intended to give us an idea of how old the King of All could be at this point. Hopefully Akira Toriyama, Toyotaro or Shueisha will give us more light on this soon.
