Elizabeth Olsen stars in the upcoming HBO Max limited series “Love & Death”, which is based on a true story of a church-going couple in Texas in the 1980s. The trailer for the series was recently released, and it shows Olsen’s transition into the infamous murder suspect Candy Montgomery. The series is set to launch on April 27th and also stars Oscar nominee Jesse Plemons and actress Elizabeth Olsen.

The story follows the Montgomery and Gore couples, as their small-town Texas life is thrown into chaos when an extramarital affair leads to a murder. The series is created by David E. Kelley and is based on the true story of Candy Montgomery, who was charged with murder but ultimately cleared. Jessica Biel portrayed the same character in the Hulu limited series “Candy” last year.

The cast also includes Patrick Fugit, Lily Rabe, and Melanie Lynskey. The series promises to be an intense and thrilling drama as it follows the story of the two couples and the consequences of their actions. “Love & Death” will be available to stream on HBO Max from April 27th.
