The Sherlock Holmes universe continues to expand on Netflix. Although the series The Irregulares, which arrived on the platform a few months ago to delve into the Baker Street gang of researchers, has not obtained the results they expected and has ended up being canceled, the service does continue to bet on Enola Holmes.
The film in which Millie Bobby Brown plays Sherlock’s little sister will have a sequel following the success of the first film in its fall release. As Deadline reports, Netflix is already developing this second installment in which Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill will once again get into the shoes of the insightful and intuitive Enola and Sherlock Holmes.
Likewise, Harry Bradbeer will also return as director of this second part, and Jack Thorne, screenwriter of the first film, will be in charge of writing the sequel. In this way, the entire team will be back in this new production, about which no further details have been disclosed at the moment.
“I’m desperate to collaborate again with my family! Enola Holmes. Enola holds a special place in my heart is strong, fearless, intelligent, and courageous,” said Brown, as stated in the publication: “I am desperado that fans see how his journey continues.” She has also shared the following publication on networks, giving the good news to his fans.
“The sequel is underway.”
