- Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber are not separated for a second of their lives. Not even to go to prison.
- The couple went to the California State Jail in Lancaster, according to the same model, 24, on Instagram.
- They had never before been portrayed inside a prison, which is why the portraits of the duo entering the jail, where they had to deal with policemen and inmates, caused an impact on their fans.
However, their foray into the correctional facility was not because they got into trouble. Hailey and Justin came to the high-security site to support and propagate faith-based programs. “I had the opportunity to visit the California State Prison in Lancaster,” wrote Baldwin. “An incredible day that changed life, we will never forget the incredible people we met and their incredible stories.”
The runway supermodel also thanked “everyone involved who made this possible.” In the images, taken by photographer Rory Kramer, the two are seen entering the prison holding hands while they were guarded by security agents. Baldwin and Bieber, 27, had to go through a woven wire gate to reach the central courtyard, where they chatted with prisoners.
The fashion ambassador stayed casual during the visit, her hair tied up in two high buns. He wore a black padded jacket and matching black baggy pants. The “Lonely” singer opted for comfort in a brown suede jacket and brown sweatpants. The two also made sure to don face masks amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
A spokesperson for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation told TMZ in March that Bieber had made a brief visit to the facility to support faith-based programs. However, it was until now that the model revealed her visit to the jail. Justin and Hailey are among the high-profile celebrities who belong to the evangelical Christian organization Churchome, led by Judah and Chelsea Smith.
