Harry Styles checks on crew after stage mishap at 2023 Grammy Awards

During his performance at the 2023 Grammy Awards, Harry Styles checked on crew members after the stage rotated in the wrong direction. The information was revealed by Grammys set designer Julio Himede on the BBC’s Eurovisioncast podcast. Styles reportedly did not criticise technicians for the mishap and called the team to make sure they were okay. The stage malfunctioned during his performance of his 2022 hit single ‘As It Was’, with Styles and his dancers forced to “reverse” their routine live onstage. Himede said incidents like this are why multiple rehearsals are crucial for live television.

In other Styles news, Shania Twain has released an official cover of his song ‘Falling’. The track was part of her Spotify Sings session and is accompanied by Twain’s cover of the Howlin’ Wolf song ‘Spoonful’ and the title track of her recent album, ‘Queen Of Me’. Twain described Styles’ version of the song as moving and said her cover “came out more emotional than I thought it would and I was very pleased.”
