Although we don’t yet have any details, Apple’s new iPhone could arrive in September at a virtual event. We have all we know about the iPhone 13 release date.
From everything we’ve heard so far, the iPhone 13 is set to offer a 120Hz LTPO display on both Pro models, improved battery life thanks to a more efficient 5G modem, and substantial upgrades to the all-important cameras. This includes a portrait video mode.
iPhone 13 Release Date
Ming-Chi Kuo, an Apple analyst, claims that the iPhone 13 will return to normal in 2021 despite the delays caused by coronavirus. This means that the launch will be in September.
According to Nikkei Asia, TSMC, which makes the A15 Bionic chips for the iPhone 13, was contaminated by gas in late July. According to the report, however, this should not impact the iPhone 13’s release date.
iPhone 13 Price
The iPhone 13’s price will be $699, $799 and $999 respectively. Apple tends not to change the pricing of each new iPhone generation from the one before it.
iPhone 13: design
Trusted analyst Ming-Chi Kuo published a detailed investor note in March 2021 claiming that the iPhone 13 would be available in “four models” and the same screen sizes.
This suggests that the iPhone 13 family will be very similar to the 2020 iPhone 12 lineup. As for persistent rumours that Apple is going to kill off the 5.4-inch iPhone Mini, Kuo said in April 2021 that he thinks that while there will be an iPhone 13 Mini, it could be the Mini’s swan song.
