BTS star Jimin has announced that his debut solo album will be released around March of this year.The announcement came during a Weverse lives-stream hosted by Jimin on Friday (10.02.23). He teased that he is “planning lots of different kinds of things we can do to have fun together and enjoy ourselves.”
Big Hit Music confirmed Jimin’s album is in the works last month, although they mentioned they could not give any details yet as they are still trying to finalize the schedule. Jimin recently collaborated with Taeyang of Big Bang on the track ‘Vibe’.
Jimin has been in the studio with Ariana Grande’s producer, TBHits, as well as Pdogg and GHSTLOOP in Los Angeles. Taylor Hill, Summer Walker’s co-writer, was also part of the session, which he called “legendary”. Jimin has a few solo hits already, including ‘Lie’, ‘Serendipity’ and ‘Filter’.
As Jimin continues to work towards completing his debut solo album, his fans, affectionately known as ARMY, remain eagerly awaiting the much-anticipated release.
