Lady Gaga has been spotted filming for the much-awaited sequel of the movie “Joker: Folie à Deux”. The pop icon was seen shooting on a staircase in New York City, a location that was also featured in the original film from 2019. Director Todd Phillips was also present, and the two were caught in deep conversation.

Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, wore an oversized black coat as she climbed the stairs. In the upcoming movie, which is set to be released on October 24, 2024, she will take on the role of Harley Quinn, a therapist who falls for the Joker, played again by Joaquin Phoenix.

Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lawtey are among the other actors that make up the cast of the sequel. Lady Gaga has been seen recently during filming, raising her fist amongst protestors, a reflection of the ongoing protests in the real world.
