‘Loki’ previews its premiere on Disney +
The God of Deception opens its series earlier than expected: the first episode arrives on June 9.
Loki is not standing still (it shouldn’t surprise us). First, it was delayed from May to June and now it has just brought forward the premiere of its series on Disney+ a few days. Finally, it will be Wednesday, June 9 when Loki arrives on the streaming platform, breaking the traditional Friday appointment with a new Marvel Studios series (a practice used by Scarlet Witch and Vision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier).
Own Tom Hiddleston announces this new change in the date of issue. He is very clear about it. “Wednesdays are the new Fridays,” says the British actor.
Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as God of Deception in the MCU in a series that also stars Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, Richard E. Grant, Sasha Lane, and Erika Coleman in the cast.

Little else has transpired about this fiction directed by Kate Herron and written by Michael Waldron. We only know that the god will travel in time (the story starts from the end of Avengers: Endgame) and that they will have to do with the Temporal Variation Authority, which has a long history with the Nexus beings and from which the character of Owen Wilson is an agent.
Loki comes after the immense hit of marvel shows like WandaVision and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. While WandaVision kicked off Phase 4 of Marvel Cinematic Universe, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier filled the empty gaps of the mysteries regarding Steve Rogers, and Captain America. Loki is now set to premiere as the third Marvel series on Disney+, from the trailer we know that the show is set up in the aftermath of an event from Avengers: Endgame, where Loki from the past was able to escape to a different timeline using the power of the tesseract. It would be interesting to see what happens in the show next.
