Lorde and MUNA joined forces on stage in Adelaide earlier this week for a special performance of the latter’s track ‘Kind of Girl’. MUNA is supporting Lorde on the Australian leg of her rescheduled ‘Solar Power’ tour, and their final show with the singer took place last Thursday in Adelaide. During her set, Lorde welcomed MUNA to the stage and called them an incredible band. Reflecting on the experience, MUNA took to Twitter to express their gratitude for the opportunity to sing with Lorde. The New Zealand singer has recently provided an update on her upcoming fourth studio album, saying she feels excited about what’s coming. The album will arrive sooner than ‘Solar Power’, which came four years after her previous album ‘Melodrama’. Lorde’s new album will be packed with “bangers”. Both Lorde and MUNA recently announced new UK gigs for this summer. The former will headline Cornwall’s Boardmasters, while the latter will support boygenius on the London date of their first-ever UK tour.
