As part of the millionaire deal with Netflix, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are preparing their first series: Heart of Invictus.

With the intention of honoring the wounded soldiers who participate in a global competition known as the ‘Invictus Games, the producer of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are preparing the Heart of Invictus series that will arrive on Netflix as part of the millionaire agreement between both parties.

Prince Harry founded the Invictus Games in 2014.

The series will follow veteran competitors of different nationalities as they train for the Invictus Games, an international competition that Prince Harry himself founded in 2014 to unite soldiers wounded in combat under Olympic-style games.

This series supervised by the couple will be directed by Orlando von Einsiedel and produced by Joanna Natasegara who form the team behind ‘The White Helmets’ that won the Oscar for best documentary in 2017.

The fifth edition of the Invictus Games was scheduled for May 2020 in the Netherlands, however, the COVID-19 pandemic has delayed them until May 2022, so the series is expected to arrive on Netflix in the summer or fall of that year.

In other news related to the British monarchy and the streaming platform, the series The Crown has undoubtedly become one of the most-watched recently after the death of Prince Philip as it shows in detail his life with Queen Elizabeth II.

Painted at first as a ruthless villain who deceives the Queen and is distant with his children, the Duke of Edinburg ends up portrayed as a man afflicted by age and who was nevertheless key in his wife’s reign.

This popular series from the Netflix catalog originally premiered in 2016 and in it Prince Philip was played by actor Matt Smith and later by Tobias Menzies in the third and fourth seasons.
