Priyanka Chopra Reveals She Refuses to Work with Unpleasant Colleagues in Bollywood

Priyanka Chopra, the Indian actor and producer, recently spoke about her changing attitudes towards work in Hollywood. During the promotion of her upcoming Prime Video series “Citadel” with Richard Madden in Mumbai, she stated that she can no longer work with people she does not like. “I have to admire, look up to and like the people that I work with,” she said. Chopra added that this was non-negotiable for her as she wanted to be both excited and inspired about going to work. These comments came after the star spoke out about leaving the Bollywood film industry due to politics, adding that she was being pushed into a corner.

Chopra talked more about her journey in an appearance on the “Armchair Expert With Dax Shepard” podcast. She revealed that she had beef with people and that was tired of politics, admitting that she needed a break. And while she says that she forgave and moved on long ago, it was only recently that she felt confident enough to fully articulate what she felt. “That’s why it was easy for me to talk about it in an open manner in a safe space,” she said.
