Riverdale Season 6: The Veronica Lodge stories keep disappearing into the drama

The CW’s popular television series Riverdale has seen a surprising twist in the story of its characters, especially Archie (KJ Apa), Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Jughead (Cole Sprouse) who now have powers, while Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) has been rudely possessed by one of her ancestors who is out to see her dead friends. However, it seems that Veronica Lodge (Camila Mendes) is disappearing from the drama with her stories.

Admittedly, the show has never done a good job of treating the main four of Riverdale as equals, but Veronica has always been the one left out. In fact, these recent events in Season 6 have further isolated Veronica. She is not only isolated from the main four, but also from everyone else in the city, which is absolutely unacceptable for one of the protagonists of the series.

Surprisingly, ever since Archie, Betty, and Jughead gained their mysterious powers, the show has been focusing solely on them to try to stop Riverdale’s new nemesis, Percival Pickens, from destroying the city with his macabre policies, causing Veronica to become confused. left even more alone.

Some fans claim that since Rivervale’s return, Veronica has barely interacted with anyone other than Reggie (Charles Melton). Because, in the sixth season, specifically in episode 6, Veronica’s moment of reconnection with Betty is cut. It’s true that the two still have a few scenes together, but any hint of a remaining friendship is erased.

In fact, after Veronica announces the death of her father Hiram (Mark Consuelos) at a town hall meeting, her scene with Archie, who is trying to be there for her, is simply used for him to unknowingly make her Veronica feels guilty about her role in Hiram’s death.

Riverdale fans say the show has made no effort to fake a friendship between the main four, even though recent storylines provide the perfect opportunity to do so.

The way Riverdale Season 6 is treating Veronica is infuriating and just plain wrong, fans say. Since she ended her relationship with Archie, she’s also had her interactions with basically everyone else in Riverdale. It only remains to be seen how the drama will be able to pick up her stories for better development.
