Netflix has released the official teaser of “Sweet Tooth” season 2, its original series which won an Emmy and critical acclaim. In the upcoming season, General Abbot, played by Neil Sandilands, and his team the Last Men have captured Gus, played by Christian Convery, and the other hybrids. To save his friends, Gus volunteers to work with Dr. Aditya Singh, portrayed by Adeel Akhtar, who is searching for a cure for his infected wife. The season will reveal secrets about Gus’ dark past and his mother’s role in the Great Crumble. The series is based on Jeff Lemire’s DC comic book series and produced by Jim Mickle, Susan Downey, Robert Downey Jr., Amanda Burrell, and Linda Moran.
The production boasts an impressive cast, including Stefania LaVie Owen, Dania Ramirez, Aliza Vellani, Neil Sandilands, Marlon Williams, Christopher Sean Cooper Jr., Yonas Kibreab, and James Brolin as the narrator. “Sweet Tooth” season 2 will debut on Netflix on April 27, 2022.
