Like mind-bending dramas where you’re never really sure what is real anymore? If so, then you’ll love 1899. 1899 is a multilingual German period mystery-science fiction television series created by Jantje Friese and Baran bo Odar. 

The 8-episode series follows a group of immigrants as they embark on a steamship journey to start a new life in America. Told from multiple perspectives in each character’s own language, the individual stories will draw you into a heart-pounding web of secrets, lies, and deceit, as the travelers fight to uncover the truth of their lives and journey. 

Once you’ve completed the mind-bending journey, don’t miss the Making of 1899 documentary that goes into depth on how they filmed 1899 using “Dark Bay” — the spinning LED Volume as part of the video production — a massive sound stage that can add any film, including film stock footage,and make it appear as if the actors are actually there. 

Cabinet of Curiosities

Created by the master of horror, Guillermo del Toro, Cabinet of Curiosities is an 8-episode horror anthology that will have you hooked before you know it. Each episode includes a sinister story, most of which are based on original short stories.
