If you are wondering about all updates for The Mandalorian Season 3, you are at the right stop. In this article, we have covered everything in detail about The Mandalorian Season 3 including release date, cast and more.

Filming for Season 3 of The Mandalorian has begun, but it will be some time before we see Din Djarin on Disney+ again. While several other spin-offs are filming, including Ewan McGregor’s comeback to the franchise in Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mando took a vacation.

However, The Book of Boba Fett — which recently received a badass new trailer – will keep us occupied till then.

Several characters from The Mandalorian are said to appear in the spin-off series. However, their names are yet unknown. According to LucasFilm, Cara Dune, Gina Carano’s ex-Rebel bruiser and Republic Marshal, will not be returning, who announced the character’s cancellation after the actor’s “abhorrent” social media posts.

However, very little more is known about season three of The Mandalorian, with Lucasfilm keeping their cards close to their chest. However, with spin-offs like Ahsoka on the way, star Pedro Pascal has indicated that more crossovers may be on the road in the future. He told IndieWire, “They are in the expansion of this planet, where there are so many unforeseen surprises and timelines that will be dealt with.”

The Mandalorian Season 3 Release Date Revealed!!

Season three of The Mandalorian has been the subject of numerous development and release date rumors. Still, it is presently in production and will most likely be released in mid-to-late 2022.

Jon Favreau, the showrunner of The Mandalorian, appeared on Good Morning America in December 2020 to clarify a few points concerning the future of Star Wars on television. He revealed that The Book of Boba Fett, a spin-off series, is presently in production and will be the next live-action Star Wars show on Disney Plus (arriving in December 2021).

He did add, though, that filming on The Mandalorian season three will begin soon after the Boba Fett program concludes, implying that Din Djarin could return in early 2022. A listing on the book industry marketing platform Edelweiss+, later leaked on the Star Wars Leaks forum and was pushing a ‘Screen Comix’ graphic novel about Boba Fett, backed up this claim. “Season 3 of The Mandalorian premieres on Disney+ Spring 2022,” said the accompanying text.

According to star Pedro Pascal, season three is yet to begin filming, who announced this during Variety’s Actors on Actors in June 2021. This is likely owing to Pascal’s commitments to filming HBO’s video game adaption, The Last of Us. After The Book of Boba Fett wrapped filming, Collider reported that the Obi-Wan Kenobi series took over the Los Angeles stage used for the Star Wars plays and that production would take several months.

Giancarlo Esposito gave us optimism in August 2021 when he said that season three would start production “soon,” while Greef Karga actor Carl Weathers announced at Steel City Con that filming would start in September and that he would once again be directing an episode. Weathers later revealed that he began to work on the Disney+ series on October 13th, 2021.

Season 3 cast of The Mandalorian – Who Will Be In?

Since the first season, the series has had a revolving door of guest stars. However, characters like Carl Weathers’ Greef Karga and Bill Burr’s erstwhile Imperial Mayfield have each made many appearances, so it’s feasible that these characters, in particular, will return in future storylines. Weathers has now announced that he will again direct an episode and hint that his character Greef will return.

Still, now that they’re being spun off into their Disney+ series, it seems unlikely that they’ll return (aka The Book of Boba Fett). Wen claimed she was skeptical about Fennec’s status on The Mandalorian when questioned about a possible return in season three by DigitalSpy.

“I’m not sure.” “I’m sure you’ll find out before I do,” she predicted. “You’ve got your ears to the ground on everything.” Come on, and you’re asking the wrong person because I had no idea I was filming The Book of Boba Fett.”

While we don’t know who will return, we know who won’t: recurrent guest performer Gina Carano, whose character Cara Dune will not return to the Star Wars world following inflammatory social media postings Carano made.

In February 2021, a Lucasfilm spokesman stated, “LucaLucasfilm does not currently employ gina Carano does not currently employ gina Carano future.” “However, her social media statements demonizing people based on their ethnic and reldemonizingntities are heinous and unacceptably offensive.”

The Mandalorian Season 3 Plot – What To Expect?

Meanwhile, Pascal’s Din Djarin may have his problems to deal with. In conclusion, he defeats Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) in combat. He grabs the Darksaber — a renowned Mandalorian weapon kept by the planet Mandalore’s king – to deliver to Katee Sackhoff’s Bo-Katan Kryze, who had been hunting it for a long time.

The entrance of more Dark Troopers and Luke immediately deflated the atmosphere, but we’re guessing the Darksaber brawl in The Mandalorian is far from over. What are the chances? Perhaps, after all this time, we’ll finally get to see Mandalore, which has yet to be featured in the Disney+ series.
