Hollywood star Tom Cruise celebrated his 60th birthday on Sunday at the British Grand Prix. The US actor beamed as he greeted fans and accepted congratulations. Cruise donned a light blue polo shirt and dark pants for the event. His signature aviator sunglasses were also included.
In conversation with “Sky Sports” Cruise wished British F1 champion Lewis Hamilton (37) the best of luck in Sunday’s race. “He’s a good friend of mine. I hope he has a great day.” Nevertheless, Carlos Sainz Jr. (27) was able to claim the win.
First Adele concert, then Formula 1
Ahead of his birthday weekend on Friday, Cruise attended Adele, 34, in concert at the British Summer Time Hyde Park Festival in London.
Cruise’s new film, Top Gun: Maverick, broke the $1 billion mark at the global box office just a week ago. It is Cruise’s first film to achieve this rare milestone. His next highest grossing is the 2018 film Mission: Impossible – Fallout, which grossed $791.1 million.
