Last year was a total meh, if you ask us, with no new releases, and old ones getting pushed further on their release dates as cinema houses saw a world-wide shut down. But not anymore!
As the world gets back on its feet, so has the film industry, and the titles that were held back for so long are finally going to see the day’s light this year or early next one. We have listed below some of our top picks of this year, they are as follows:
The Batman (Movie)
The DC comics franchise comes with yet another highly anticipated reboot of their Batman series, starring Robert Pattison as the new Batman, and honestly, we have high hopes.
Contrary to other Batman series, this series focuses on and explores Batman’s (a billionaire who acts as masked vigilante to protect his city) younger days, when his experience in fighting crime is less and the character has not “fully developed” as per say. Nonetheless, it’s going to be a good one.
Outlander (Season 6)
Sing me a song, of a Lass that is gone! But not for long! With the 5th season ending wayyy back in 2019, the Outlander season 6 finally has a release date after production wrapped up earlier last month. And it will be released somewhere in early 2022. Putting an end to the ‘droughtlander’.
Just like other seasons, the new season will be based on the 6th book, A Breath of Snow and Ashes, of the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. What’s more exciting is that the season has even been renewed for season 7.

Decades after a couple moved into a luxurious condo in Cabrini. The guy Anthony McCoy, being a visual artist, takes interest in seeking the legend of Candyman as a way to revive his artistic career, which leads into supernatural events unfolding.
