Netflix releases a new three-part docuseries directed by Tiller Russell called “Waco: American Apocalypse” about David Koresh, the cult, and the 1993 tragedy that resulted in the deaths of 86 people. The series offers new, unreleased material such as recordings of the FBI wiretap and videotapes filmed inside the FBI’s Hostage Negotiation Command Post. The documentary features interviews with three former members of the Branch Davidians, including Kathy Schroeder, who served three years in prison for her part in the siege, and Heather Jones, who was the last child to escape the compound. “Waco: American Apocalypse” is set to premiere on Wednesday, March 22, on Netflix at 7 am GMT. The series will explore the multifaceted clash and conflicting feelings between the Branch Davidians and the federal law enforcement in an epic drama about God and guns in America.
