Since his appearance as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tom Holland has become one of the most successful young people. But apparently, the actor also had intentions to be part of another great franchise but did not have much luck. During a interview With Backstage, he revealed that his audition for the character of Finn in Star Wars was lousy and here we tell you why.
Tom Holland was quite young when he auditioned for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Back then, we all know that the character was left in the hands of John Boyega, four years older than the new Spidey. Perhaps age was one of the impediments Holland did not get the part for, but for the actor, the reason was that his audition was terrible for a particular reason.

“I have had enough. I have read the wrong lines in the wrong audition before. I remember my audition for Star Wars, I had like four or five auditions and I think I was doing one for the role of John Boyega. I remember doing this scene with this girl, bless her, and she was just a drone. So I was doing all this and I said, ‘We have to get back to the ship!’ And she’d say, ‘Beep, bloop bloop, beep bloop.’ I could not stop laughing. I found it very funny. And I felt really bad, because she was trying so hard to be a convincing android or a drone or whatever they were called. Yes, I obviously didn’t get the part. That was not my best moment ”, revealed Tom Holland about his audition for Star Wars.
And although his audition was terrible and kept him from being part of a major franchise, Tom Holland was later able to enter Marvel Studios at the hands of Spider-Man.
