On April 18, ‘The Batman’ premieres on the HBO Max streaming platform, starring Robert Pattinson, Paul Dano, Zoë Kravitz, Colin Farrell, Jeffrey Wright, among others. And at the moment Warner Bros has not confirmed that the version that reaches the service contains extra scenes that have not been seen in the cinema, and that includes the Joker scene.

So the version released on HBO Max will be the same as the one released in theaters. However, it is hoped that the physical format version of ‘The Batman’ will have the aforementioned deleted scene of the Joker, although as part of the extra content, and not within the cut of the tape.
‘The Batman’ in physical will include two deleted scenes
According to information from Colider, the physical versions of ‘The Batman’ will arrive on May 24, and it has been confirmed that it will include two deleted scenes with the villains of the film. The first of these is the aforementioned Joker sequence in Arkham Asylum, and the second would be one between Zoë Kravitz’s Catwoman and Colin Farrell’s The Penguin.
According to the information, the scene between Selina Kyle and The Penguin takes place in the nightclub that we saw in ‘The Batman’, but there are no details of what will happen between these characters. In addition, this version will have a lot of extra content, including behind the scenes and interviews with members of the production.
At the moment there is nothing confirmed about the sequel to ‘The Batman’, but it has been confirmed that it has passed the $750 million gross at the global box office. So it would only be a matter of time for Warner to give the green light to the second part, and also give details of the spin-off series of this universe.
