A set decoration piece of underwear worn by Bryan Cranston in Breaking Bad is now up for auction. Part of the Los Angeles Online Entertainment Memorabilia Auction, the cotton and polyester briefs, size 40 inches, costs $1,250 with an estimate of $2,500 to $5,000.
The listing states that the briefs feature a white elastic waistband with blue and goldenrod details, with the elasticity mostly lost. It ends on February 28th and is one of many items from the hit AMC show included in the auction, such as Johnny Depp’s cowboy boots from 21 Jump Street, and a light-up helmet from Alien.
The news of Breaking Bad underwear being up for auction has come after an actual university professor, Sergey Macheret, was recently accused of running a Breaking Bad-style crystal meth business. The 65-year-old, who was a teacher at the Purdue School of Aeronautics and Astronautics in West Lafayette, Indiana, was arrested on February 1 after multiple complaints were made to Lafayette police. He is expected to be charged with dealing methamphetamine, possession and making an unlawful proposition.
Whether or not this news will have an effect on the purchase of Breaking Bad underwear is still unknown.
